Valentina Server is easy to install and set up on your network, regardless of your operating system. Don't rely on DBAs to set up your server but allow applications to automatically locate your server on the network.

Valentina Server installation works just like any other native installation of software on your target platform, and allows you to start Valentina Server without having to restart the computer.

Setting up Valentina Server is simplified with network support for zeroconf (referred to as Bonjour on Mac OS X networks). Zeroconf is a system that allows applications to automatically discover other devices. Network administrators don't need to set up Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Domain Name System (DNS), or configure each computer's network settings manually but can rely on fast discovery. You can easily enable or disable zeroconf through Valentina Server configuration.
