Valentina Release 18.2.2 Adds New Forms Signals, Improves SQL Editor

Updates to DuckDB, SQLite support, ValentinaDB, Valentina ADK .NET and Valentina ADK for Python 3.15.

Release 18.2.2 follows a major update to the Valentina Platform with Release 18.

Valentina Studio

Valentina Studio is the popular, free database and data source management suite of tools from Paradigma Software. Valentina Studio PRO adds advanced features to the Studio toolbox, including Report Designer and Forms Designer. In addition to a fresh appearance makeover and native UI integration improvements, Valentina Studio 18.2.2 adds new features:

• [New][Form Editor] Added QDialog signals in the Property Inspector: accepted when the dialog is accepted (e.g., OK), rejected when rejected (e.g., Cancel), and finished when it finishes, passing the result code.
• [New][Form Editor] Added the Dialog.closed signal, emitted when a dialog closes and reporting whether it was accepted or rejected.
• [Imp][Qt] Updated Qt to 6.12.0 on Windows and Linux, and to 6.11.2 on macOS.
• [Imp][AI][SQL Editor] AI Chat now receives the SQL Editor’s current database or connection as context, with instructions to use it by default and ask when a requested target is ambiguous.
• [Imp][Tips] The Tips window is now non-modal and stays on top of other applications’ windows, so it can remain visible while you work.
• [Imp][Appearance] Schema Editor view-mode and other group-style buttons now show theme-aware selected, hover, and keyboard-focus states.

ValentinaDB is the advanced, post‑relational, extensible columnar database system deployed by ISVs, SaaS, cross-platform developers and vertical solution providers for over 20 years, that require an extremely fast data platform. Included in all versions Valentina Database ADK and Valentina Server.

Versions of Valentina ADKs are natively available for .NET / C#.

Valentina Database ADK for .NET supports local integrated database runtimes for ValentinaDB, SQLite and DuckDB, and free connectivity to Valentina Server integrated database servers: ValentinaDB Server, Valentina SQLite Server & Valentina DuckDB Server. Valentina Reports ADK for .NET. ADK enables integration of an advanced reporting system into your .NET applications, as well as connectivity to Valentina Reports Server.

• [Imp][Examples] Windows C# examples now reference a local VNET_x64.dll instead of a specific version in the Global Assembly Cache.

Valentina ADKs are natively available for Python development on Linux, macOS and Windows.
