Release 18.2 follows a major update to the Valentina Platform with Release 18. Release 18 added full-text search to ValentinaDB, introduced a new Chart control to Valentina Reports and Valentina Forms, expanded the Valentina Forms toolbox, enhanced productivity features of Valentina Studio SQL Editor and Data Editor and the ability to use AI Ask and Agent modes with Valentina Forms.

Valentina CLI
Valentina 18.1 introduces the first release of Valentina Command-Line Interface. The vcli command is included with Valentina Studio and Valentina Server packages and provides terminal-based access to local databases and Valentina Server. This update adds:
- [New][Vdump] Introduced vdump, a command-line utility for exporting and importing ValentinaDB databases
- [Imp][Output] Added automatic output formatting and made it the default for vcli
- [Imp][Output] Improved vertical headers, wrapped line endings, and terminal-width handling
- [Imp][Options] Reorganized vcli help and shared option parsing and validation between vcli and vdump
Valentina Studio
Valentina Studio is the popular, free database and data source management suite of tools from Paradigma Software. Valentina Studio PRO adds advanced features to the Studio toolbox, including Report Designer and Forms Designer. In addition to a fresh appearance makeover and native UI integration improvements, Valentina Studio 18 adds new features:

- [Imp][Scripts] Code editors now validate supported language syntax in the background.
- [Imp][Scripts][Autocompletion] Improved JavaScript and Python code completion
- [Imp][Scripts] Pressing Enter in the code editor now preserves the current line’s leading indentation.
- [Imp][Scripts] The Home key now switches between the first non-whitespace character and the beginning of the line. Shift+Home extends the selection.[Imp][Script Editor] Integrated the Execute action into the script editor’s standard toolbar
- [Imp][Scripting API] Added more ways to construct QPixmap values from dimensions, files, and byte arrays. QImage and QPixmap values can now be converted to PNG byte arrays.
Valentina Server
Valentina Server is a 5-in-1 solution that includes Valentina Reports Server and Valentina Forms Server, as well as three internal database servers: ValentinaDB Server, Valentina DuckDB Server and Valentina SQLite Server.
